Are You A Professional Affiliate Marketer?

By Manny Rutz

Successful affiliate marketers understand how important it is to find a good niche with a low competitive market. When it comes to affiliate products there are simply millions of products & services to choose from. The key is knowing which ones are profitable and which ones will just waste your time and money. In this article we are going to share a few tips that will most likely help you with your affiliate marketing business.

As marketers the hard and soul of any website or affiliate marketing site is being able to generate traffic to the affiliate offer. Something that still works today is doing contest or giveaways on your website. People love getting free stuff and there's a saying that "the money is in the list".

We all know the internet world is filled with scams and dishonest people who will do anything to grab a sale no matter what unethical forms of marketing they have to do. But a true affiliate marketing professional will build a relationship with their readers and will provide value and information just with the purpose of helping someone.

When it comes to finding a good converting product find a product or service that starts at a 1% conversion rate and above. The higher the visitor to customer ratio is the better.

Some of the high converting products will have a lot more competition on Google if you are planning to sell it using SEO. If this is the path you have chosen make sure that you do your keyword research. If you already have a big list then it will be probably to tell your list about a new converting product than doing SEO.

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make some money, but you have to know what you are doing if you want to make good money. Your goal is to increase the visibility of your website on search engines and also while you are doing that build a list of targeted followers.

As you can see is not only about finding the right product to promote, it comes down to also being actively learning and applying new things. The more you learn and the more value you provide to your readers and visitors the better your results will be.
