How To Write A Blog - Get Started The Easy Way

Blog marketing is becoming more and more popular accross the internet for people looking for ways to get lots of money now and for people that are starting an internet marketing business for the first time, expanding an offline business to the new world of the internet, or wanting to step up their promotional efforts for programs that they are marketing such as affiliate programs or network marketing opportunities.

The great advantage of blogs is that they don't cost much and they can provide a central platform to market their message in a sustainable, long term strategy to their markets if done correctly. So how to write a blog becomes a priceless skill to market effectively for the long term.

All too often, unsuspecting new marketers will spend a lot of their money on one click, get rich over-night products that just simply do not work. Others will be lured to the fast traffic and instant results of PPC (pay per click) advertising of their sites only to watch their costs sky-rocket with little or no sales conversions. However, blogs will continue to attract traffic for free by leveraging searches on search engines and also benefiting from the social media trends that will continue on into the future indefinitely to earn money blogging if you learn how to blog market correctly.

The trick is to learn how to blog in such a way that you differentiate yourself from all the millions of other blogs throughout the internet. So how do you get your blog content noticed and what do you blog about?

OK, so how to write a blog...

If you already have a blog site, the first thing to do is to determine a relevant and interesting topic to write about. Here are some tricks to help you get started if you don't already know a topic that you want.

Current or Trending Stories or Videos... take some time to search what's trending today on the news, google, yahoo, youtube or facebook. What are people interested in today i.e. celebrities, sports, music, health, stocks, economy, etc.

What are you interested in or what do you want to learn more about? What do you have experience doing or how did you overcome a particular challenge?

Do some keyword research to see if your topic is generating enough interest to drive good traffic. In other words, does anybody else care about your topic? Select a main keyword and some related variations also for your article or post.

Go to other high ranking blog sites in your market that attract a lot of traffic while noticing their topics and blog writing styles.

Start Writing...and keep on writing!

When you start writing, it is important to get your thoughts down first before trying to edit. Do NOT try to edit your work as as you go! This sounds simple, but it often creates a problem in disrupting the flow of thoughts for many bloggers which may not actually end up writing anything at all with too many stoppages derailing your thought train.

Use your own unique personality and follow your internal beliefs to gain credibility over time. So just be yourself and be honest about how you feel in expressing your content. People really want to hear what you honestly think about a particular topic. Try to write as if you are speaking to your friends or family.

Blog Daily or as often as possible - Don't worry about making it perfect. The content that you're writing is the most important attribute anyway. The single most important point of how to write a blog is creating interesting content on a consistent basis.

How to write a blog that gets noticed. Once your article or blog post is written, then do some basic SEO optimization. Start out simple, such as writing a catchy title that includes your main keyword and spread some of your keywords throughout your content. Be sure to include a category and tags that relate to your content before posting as well.

Pinging your blog after publishing your posts is another good way to get your blog noticed. Each time that you update your blog, use the ping tools to ping it. This will let all of the blog directories know that you have added new content to your blog site that helps with traffic generation.
