Be a Success With Article Marketing

An article to some, may only seem like a set of words and paragraphs that discuss a little topic and provide some information. To a business owner, an article is a way to drive in traffic, gain publicity, and increase profits. There are a few good ways to build a bridge between the two perceptions and reach your goal.

If you have friends or fellow business associates you both can trade articles and increase your efforts. If you both post each others' articles on your sites you both will benefit from increased content and traffic thus increasing exposure and potential customers.

In order to increase exposure of your articles it is a great idea to partner with other site owners of friends with blogs and trade articles. You both will be helping the other by not only adding content but making your sites dynamic. Search engine love constantly changing websites.

Always focus your efforts on real quality products and services and not fly by night junk. After all you want to be in business for the long hall and not here today and gone tomorrow. And you will find that a quality product will attract a quality consumer.

It is also important to have a good balance between article quality and speed of article release. It is crucial to give readers a regular stream of new content in order to maintain their interest and keep them constantly aware of the products and services you are marketing.

Use article marketing directories to look for under-represented areas in your niche. See what all the other writers have covered. How can you make your content unique? What has not yet been addressed? This is where you will benefit from knowing your niche well, because it will be easier to spot new areas to exploit that others have missed.

Be sure the content you provide is both timely and timeless. You don't want to post specific detailed content in a venue in which you cannot edit, change or add information. If you are posting to a forum or blog that will not allow you editorial access only post general information with a link to your website. For articles that do allow you to edit and update, do so frequently to stay timely.

As a final check before submitting your article make sure your title is unique and not too trite. This is usually the hardest thing to do so spend plenty of time on this aspect and don't be afraid to bounce ideas off of your family and friends and then sleep on it before making a decision.

Before submitting your article it is a good idea to do a quick search to make sure the title is unique. If you find a duplicate title in use rephrase it and try to make it stand out in the crowd without getting off topic.

And finally, don't forget video marketing of your written article. Make sure you create a video of all of your articles and distribute them and include a link to your home page or blog. Video marketing is becoming more and more important and almost synonymous with article marketing.

Take advantage of the thousands and thousands of online blogs, e-zines, internet video sites, and lifestyle sites that rely on users to generate and submit content. You can submit an informative and intriguing article which can drive traffic to your site by reaching a diverse range of people and potential new markets.

Because not everyone enjoys reading long articles, you should always shoot for articles no longer than 500 words. Many studies have been conducted on this subject, and the popular consensus is that most readers lose interest in basic web articles after 500 words.

With diligent high quality work your articles will be the work horse to getting your site successfully ranked in the search engines which will steadily increase your profits.
