I was reading Dan Kennedy's and Bill Glazer's newsletter this weekend, and they pointed out a statistic which really is a bit shocking...
26% of the people [American's] do not know what country America won its independence from.
This poll was taken by Marist Poll and published July 2, 2010.
In the same newsletter, Dan Kennedy mentions how in U.S. schools, collectivism and capitalism are being presented to young students as -- get this -- moral equivalents!
