Fundamentals Of SEO Solutions - Valuing On Page More Than Off Page

By Greg Pierce

"A content-rich website is the lifeblood of any successful business. Your customers see value in how you present your website to them. They see value in how your site is laid out, how detailed the pieces of information are including the services or products that you offer. All online marketers should understand that a website is crucial in achieving business success. But a website won't be enough because you need your customers to visit your site. The 'build it and they will come' concept doesn't always work in the world of Internet Marketing. You will need a strategy known as Website Search Engine Optimization so that you can drive customers to your site, thus, the chances for increasing sales become higher. Most refer to this as SEO.

According to recent data, 90% of all website traffic is generated by the major search engines. Having your website optimized with on page and off page SEO is needed if you want your customers to find you in these search engines. Building a website isn't enough to get you on the SRPs. So, what can you do to ensure your website isn't lost in the sea of other websites? SEO is the answer.

SEO is the process of getting your website ranked high in the search engines. When clients do a search on Google, for instance, with SEO, that client will find your site at the results page. Today, customers have become smarter. Before they purchase something, they do a search and find more information about it that might help them. Now, are your customers finding you? They probably are not, if you aren't using SEO.

SEO is done through the use of on-page and off-page SEO factors.

Now, what's the difference between on page and off page?

*When we talk about on page SEO, we are actually talking about keywords and key elements and their proper utilization within your site's text headline and title. The keywords are found normally in the title, within headlines and within the text.

*Off page SEO involves back linking to sites. The links should lead the customers back to your webpage. Basically, search engines like Google are 'asking' other websites what your website is about and don't trust what you say your website is about.

Though the two SEO methods are effective, but daily off page SEO is what you will need to get high ranking in search engines. When you get high ranking, you will get high traffic. High traffic means more sales. That's the ultimate goal of any website, after all.
