Article Marketing Strategies That Really Work

If you're involved with article marketing, you've had to make some adjustments in your approach since the Panda update introduced by Google not long ago. Article marketers generally fell into two basic categories, until the changes rendered one of them obsolete. Some knew that by creating content that other sites wanted they could benefit from syndication, but most only churned out articles for the major directories in order to get them ranked as quickly as possible. But now, the latter is no longer a valid form of article marketing, not only that but you really have to focus on providing high quality content with your articles.

One issue that you have to contend with when writing articles is how long to make them. If you consider an average sized article to be five hundred words, you can then decide if you want to write short, average sized or long articles. A long article is one that approaches a thousand words, in some cases even longer. There's little doubt about which strategy will provide you with better results -longer articles, provided they're well written, of course. To begin with, a longer article has a better chance of being syndicated by an authority site. It's also more beneficial to publish longer articles to your own blog, as the search engines will tend to rank these articles more highly.

Timely completion of any content for marketing and business is the name of the game. Writing a quick outline for articles or blog posts is essential to get the content written quickly. Not everybody will do this, but we assure you this is a common sense task used by the best writers. Of course you will start with the idea, and then you build your points in the article. The body of your content will serve to explain yourself to your audience, and it must be logical and make sense. You can even find guidelines for the concluding paragraph which all written content needs to have.

The key here is to find markets that have strong ties to yours in some way. There - you have instantly found new outlets and markets you can legitimately talk about.

Make the decision to be committed, and then always take strong action on these points.
