A Business Blog Is A Fantastic Marketing Tool

By John McPherson

Considering the incredible growth of blogging over recent years, it was expected that companies would see the potential of blogging as a marketing communications channel and get into the act sooner or later.

Business blogs are divided into two different types - the internal blog and also the external one - each has its own objective.

In years past organizations were forced to put out normal circulars to notify staff about company news and developments however it can be achieved with an internal business blog which communicates with employees in close to real-time and which supplies them with a ready way of offering their comments.

External business blogs are widely-used to get in touch with all those outside the organization that have an interest in its success - by keeping them well informed of company information, development, new service introductions etc.

While the corporate blog is a effective tool, a lot of companies don't utilize it effectively due to the fact they don't understand the potential and have started their blogs only in order that they aren't looked at as being out of date. These businesses make blogs with no long-term goal or focus, either for the staff or outside stakeholder. Because of this, the end result is sometimes the reverse of what they expected it to be.

A blog that has no discernible goal can create the feeling among the visitors that those who publish it - the business' administration - also have no distinct purpose.

Also since a blog can be an interactive channel - visitors will be able to post their feedback on what they've read so that others can share their thoughts and experiences. Not furnishing material that stimulates the connection will leave the business blog sagging and without life.

However an internal business blog done properly, can be quite a big morale enhancer by enabling employees to express their own opinions and therefore providing them a sense of being actively included in the running of their organization. Giving workers with current up to date info in the company blog enables the management to gather priceless employees opinions on various issues in an casual way and modify their guidelines accordingly, if needed.

External corporate sites are a chance for the organization to inform anyone outside it about the fresh happenings and products which are making news and once again, given that audience feedback is usually part of these kinds of blogs, useful information in the form of marketplace viewpoint to new policies and products can be had for next to practically nothing. Much like the internal blog giving users the opportunity to associate with the management, which can produce customer loyalty.

What Is An Organic SEO Company? How Are They Different?

By Areelitaha Joahlanski

One of the biggest mistakes you can make when trying to get a new website recognized by the search engines is to go too fast. When a site blasts off with tons of marketing and links from other sites it is likely to get a decent search engine ranking, but an organic seo company will have longer lasting results.

So, what makes an organic SEO company so different from all the others? They basically take more time with the process, allowing a site to grow over time. Other companies work as fast as possible, trying to get a site recognized by the search engines then disappearing. A company that believes in organic practices will allow the site to grow over time.

There is a natural growth process that a new website is supposed to go through. They go from being unknown to anyone to being highly ranked (hopefully) with all of the search engines and tons of people finding them each and every day.

An organic SEO company works a little differently the others because it aims to maintain this natural growth process. Its techniques will be designed to get the site recognized by search engines and all the right people, but gradually over time. This means the site may not have instant fame, but it will have a long term future with a higher search engine ranking over time.

Here is the biggest problem with other types of seo practices: the big surge in ranking and increased traffic cannot be maintained over the long term. This means while the site goes up with a bang, it falls off with another big bang.

With an organic seo company, the page rankings slowly rise as more and more links to the site are amassed over time. Rather than getting ten links in a single day, those links may be acquired over a few weeks or months. The search engines start to pick up on this growing site and the higher page rankings will follow.

The rules are constantly changing with the search engines and it can be hard if not impossible to explain why some sites do not receive the rankings they probably deserve. In some instances a site that goes too fast with the seo can be labeled as a spam site, which will not receive a high ranking or may be entirely ignored by the search engines.

This problem is largely avoided for sites that go with an organic seo practices. One of the reasons a site can be pegged as a spam site is the rapid accumulation of links leading to the site in a very short period of time. Since organic principles take this process slower, this is less likely to become an issue.

Webmasters who go with an organic seo company aren't as concerned with immediate page rankings as they are the longevity of their site. They want to eventually become a top ranked site that is notable and timeless. They do not want to spark right at the beginning and fizzle out sooner or later.

3 Basic On-Page SEO Tips

By David Hoffman

This article takes the assumption that you already know what SEO or Search Engine Optimization is and why it is so important. It also goes into detail about the on page factors concerning SEO. Listed below are three on page factors.

1. It is essential that you use meta tag descriptions and keywords

For every page on your site you should have meta tags unique to that page. Meta tags are HTML code found between the tags near the top of the page when you are looking at the HTML code.

Meta tag as a keyword will create a comma-separated list of keywords that will pertain to your website. There is no requirement for a keyword to be single words. They can be single words or even phrases that relate to the content on your web page. In any case this will all help out your Search Engine Optimization or "SEO".

For the description meta tag write a description of your site that would make someone want to click your link. This meta tag's description is used by some search engines, including Google, as the text description of your site. So it's not just for the search engine's benefit, it's also likely to be seen by a human and it may be the difference between that human clicking on your site's link or another site.

2. Anywhere your Website contains images make sure it has an alt tag.

The HTML code for placing an image on your page has optional and additional attribute known as an alt tag. This literally means alternative text. This was at first meant for those that could not view pictures while surfing the web or had their images turned off so that they could know what the image is portraying or is without being able to see it visually. Search engines will use this to describe what your page contains and increases SEO.

Any alt tags that contain keywords need to relate to your site and the images they describe. Rather than just putting in "header" for the alt tag image header you can take the chance to talk about what your website is about. For example, try something like "Dog Training Header", if your web page is about training dogs. It is wise not to overdo this but be direct and to the point so you have better SEO.

3. Use header tags wisely.

Header tags like H1,H2,H3 and so on, will be used by search engines to deduce the most important keywords of your Website. By using style sheets you can always change header tags if you so wish so it is always better to use standard HTML tags rather than custom ones. Now all that you need to do is put in relevant keywords in the headers you use. An H1 header should contain the primary keyword with the H2 having the secondary keyword for SEO.

The information covered in the article about on page SEO is very important even though these are just a few of the basics. This is a great way to improve the SEO of your website and if you wish to go further in SEO you can always get good back links to the Website you own.

The Simple Way To Find A Profitable Niche

By Darcy McCoy

Anyone who is just getting into the world of affiliate marketing has heard terms like "keyword research" and "finding a niche." The business of trying to understand the terms can be very confusing at first. Trying to learn the process of keyword research is even more baffling. Quite possibly you have already read a dozen different free (or paid!) reports and seen a dozen videos, all of them promising to explain everything about "the right method" of finding a profitable niche and good keywords.

At some point cross over into complete information overload; nothing makes any sense and that seems unlikely to change! The idea of a niche market may be one that you're beginning to fathom; you might even recognize a good keyword when it's put in front of you, but finding your own targeted keywords is just not happening yet. In an effort to do all the things you have read and heard, you may now have a collection of software, and signed up for a dozen different online keyword tools. These tools are supposedly going to give you an unlimited supply of low competition, long-tail keywords in any niche -- and it won't take any time either!

The trouble is that without experience and some knowledge it's pretty hard to carry out effective research for your own keywords. How many late nights have you had, trying to pull out those coveted keyword phrases from hundreds of useless terms, hoping to find one or two that would help you hit the jackpot? The other mystery of keyword research is related to what kind of traffic a particular term will generate; some traffic is looking to buy a product or service in your niche, while other traffic is still in the process of information-gathering prior to purchasing.

The fact is, we can get quite exhausted and overwhelmed with this entire cycle. Hours of fruitless keyword research can eat up the time that you need to learn the other aspects of affiliate marketing, especially if you're trying to do this in your off time. You want to build your hub pages or a Wordpress site, get cracking on some articles, learn how to build backlinks -- but the hours you have are all gone!

Clearly, you need a workable SOLUTION for obtaining keywords. What if you had a list of fifty keywords for a specific niche market, and you knew they were properly researched? If you choose the lowest competition keywords you might not even need a hub page or website; all you need is a domain name for redirecting your affiliate links, and then you go straight to writing articles.

Get a couple of dozen articles published, as quickly as your schedule permits, and suddenly you've got a real campaign off and running. With lots of keywords left, you can "rinse and repeat." Now that's a plan anyone can cope with!
